James Harden recorded 41 points (10-24 FG), 9 rebounds and 6 assists for his 7th consecutive game with 35+ points and 5+ assists, tying Oscar Robertson for the longest such streak in NBA history (Robertson did it twice from 12/25/64-1/5/65 and from 1/18/67-1/27/67). Tonight, Harden also recorded his 9th consecutive 30-point game (first to do so since Kevin Durant did it 12 straight games from 1/7-1/29/14) and 3rd consecutive 40-point game. Julius Randle led the Pelicans with 23 points (10-19 FG), 11 rebounds and 4 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Rockets improve to 20-15, while the Pelicans fall to 16-21 on the season.
