The #8 seed Memphis Grizzlies defeated the #4 seed New Orleans Pelicans in overtime, 88-86, to advance to the 2019 MGM Resorts NBA Summer League Championship, where they will face the winner of the other semifinal matchup between the #3 seed Minnesota Timberwolves and the #7 seed Brooklyn Nets. Brandon Clarke led all scorers with 23 points (7-10 FG) and a game-high 14 rebounds to lead the Grizzlies, while Tyler Harvey added 13 points (5-14 FG, 3-8 3pt FG) in the victory. Trevon Blueitt led the Pelicans with a team-high 16 points (6-11 FG) and 5 rebounds, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker totaled 14 points (5-23 FG, 2-7 3pt FG), 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the losing effort.
