How to sign up and play fantasy football

Since we are getting close to the start of the NFL and College football season’s I thought It would be a good idea to do a post on how to sign and play daily fantasy football. Below are instructions on how to play and links to sign up. This site is meant to be a resource for those wanting to play, so I hope this helps people get in the game.

To start, you will need to pick a team that includes the following: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K and a defense. All of this needs to be done without going over the salary cap. Below is the point system that is used to determine the winners. You can sign up today by clicking here

Rushing yards made = 0.1pts Sacks = 1pt
Rushing touchdowns = 6pts Opponent-fumbles recovered = 2pts
Passing yards = 0.04pts Interception return touchdowns = 6pts
Passing touchdowns = 4pts Fumble return touchdowns = 6pts
Interceptions = -1pt Kickoff return touchdowns = 6pts
Receiving yards = 0.1pts Punt return touchdowns = 6 pts (excludes blocked punts)
Receiving touchdowns = 6pts Safeties = 2pts
Receptions = 0.5pts Blocked kicks = 2pts
Kickoff return touchdowns = 6pts Interceptions = 2pts
Punt return touchdowns = 6pts 0 points allowed = 10pts
Fumbles lost = -2pts 1-6 points allowed = 7pts
Own fumbles recovered touchdowns = 6pts 7-13 points allowed = 4pts
Two-point conversions scored = 2pts 14-20 points allowed = 1pt
Two-point conversion passes = 2pts 28-34 points allowed = -1pt
Field-goals from 0-19 yards = 3pts 35+ points allowed = -4pts
Field-goals from 20-29 yards = 3pts
Field-goals from 30-39 yards = 3pts
Field-goals from 40-49 yards = 4pts
Field-goals from 50+ yards = 5pts
Extra-point conversions = 1pt
Note: For purposes of FanDuel defensive scoring, points allowed are calculated as:
6 * (Rushing TD + Receiving TD + Own fumbles recovered for TD ) + 2 * (Two point conversions) + Extra points + 3 * (Field Goals)

    • 25 Passing Yards = +1PT (+0.04PT/ per yard is awarded)
    • 300+ Yard Passing Game = +3PTs

    • Fumble Recovery TD = +6PTs
    • Blocked Punt or FG Return TD = +6PTs
    • Safety = +2PTs
    • Blocked Kick = +2PTs
    • 0 Points Allowed = +10PTs
    • 1-6 Points Allowed = +7PTs
    • 7-13 Points Allowed = +4PTs
    • 14-20 Points Allowed = +1PT
    • 21-27 Points Allowed = 0PTs
    • 28-34 Points Allowed = -1PT
    • 35+ Points Allowed = -4PTs

    The following scoring plays will result in Points Allowed (PA) by your Defense/Special Teams (DST):

    • Rushing TDs, Passing TDs, Punt Return TDs, Kick Return TDs and Blocked Punt TDs
    • 2pt conversions
    • Extra-points
    • Field-goals

    *Note: Points Allowed (PA) only includes points surrendered while DST is on the field – doesn’t include points given up by team’s offense (i.e. points off offensive turnovers).
