D’Angelo Russell led the Nets with 27 points (18 in the 4th quarter), to go with 7 rebounds and 6 assists, while Spencer Dinwiddie totaled 14 points (6-16 FG), 4 rebounds and 5 assists in the losing effort. With the win, the Raptors improve to 56-23, while the Nets fall to 39-40 on the season.

The Raptors currently hold the 2-seed in the Eastern Conference, 2.5 games behind the 1-seed Bucks, while the Nets hold the 7-seed over the 8-seed Magic (despite identical records) by virtue of winning the head-to-head tiebreaker. The Nets are also 0.5 games behind the 6-seed Pistons.
