LeBron James (24 pts, 12 reb, 11 ast) and Lonzo Ball (16 pts, 10 reb, 10 ast) each record a triple-double as the Lakers defeated the Hornets 128-100 tonight in Charlotte. James and Ball are the first teammates since Vince Carter and Jason Kidd (4/7/07) to record a triple-double in the same game and the first Lakers since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson (1/22/82) to accomplish this feat. This is LeBron James’ 2nd triple-double of the season, also becoming the 6th player in NBA history to reach 75 career triple-doubles. This is Lonzo Ball’s 1st triple-double of the season (3rd of career). With the win the Lakers improve to 18-11, while the Hornets fall to 14-15 on the season.
