Outfield

Mike Trout – No other player offers the value of Trout and in 2015 no can compete. His 36 hrs and 111 rbi last year carried teams for most of the season. Look for him to top that this year as he matures even more.

Giancarlo Stanton – Stanton’s power at the plate is video game like. He would have hit over 40 hrs last year if he was not injured by a wild pitch at the end of the season. Most think he will regain his form and hit over 40 hrs this year.

Andrew McCutchen – When you think of the MVP, you think of McCutchen. He has been a vital part of the resurrection of the Pirate’s by doing almost everything. You can pretty much pencil him in for 25 hrs .315 and 80 rbi.

Yasiel Puig – One of the brightest young stars in the game is set for a breakout mvp type season this year. I think he will hit below the .296 he hit last year, but will make up for it with over 30 hrs and close to 100 rbi.

First Base

Miguel Cabrera – Cabrera may end up being the best right handed hitter in the history of the game. While he has shown signs of wearing down after years of playing everyday, I think he will continue his amazing run and hit over 30 hr’s and drive in over 100 rbi.

Jose Abreu – Another one of the great young stars of the game, Abreu hits lasers on a daily basis. It will be hard to top .317 and 36 hrs, but I think he will come close. He should be a go to starter for the entire season.

Second Base

Jose Altuve – After an amazing 2014 Altuve is set for an even better year. As the Astros improve as a team, it is only good news for Altuve. Pencil him in for over 200 hits once again.

Robinson Cano – His second year in Seattle will be better than his first as the team continues to upgrade it’s lineup. While he may not reach his Yankee years numbers, he will come close.

ShortStop

Hanley Ramirez – In a new setting and in the American League, Ramirez could explode this year. In Fenway Park I could see him hitting over 30 hrs and getting over 100 rbi.

Jose Reyes – Another player would will benefit from his lineup is Reyes. He will set the table for some great power hitters and score a ton of runs. If he can keep his batting average around .300 he will have a monster 2015.

Third Base

Josh Donaldson – If you are looking for a traditional third baseman who will get you the power you need to win, Donaldson is your guy. In his new setting he should hit well over 30 hrs and come close to 100 rbi.

Adrian Beltre – He may play for a new team every year, but his numbers remain the same. If you are looking for consistency Beltre is your guy. He should continue to hit well over .300 and drive in around 80 rbi.

Catcher

Buster Posey – Posey remains the best hitting catcher in the game and his consistency is amazing. Look for him to hit over .300 this year and drive in over 80 rbi. He may get some rest by playing first base at some point, so that will be a plus.

Salvador Perez – Perez was one of the most underrated players in the game last year. Coming off a trip to the World Series he is set to have a breakout year. Look for him to hit over 20 hrs this year.

Starting Pitcher

Clayton Kershaw – The best pitcher in the game will have a hard time topping 21 wins, but his overall numbers should remain the same in 2015. His strikeout totals are reason enough to start him each week.

Felix Hernandez – With a better team around him now, King Felix should increase his win total and cut a few losses. His strikeout totals are very much like Kershaws, which make him a must start.

Max Scherzer – After a solid year last year, Scherzer comes to the National League where he will have the benefit of facing pitchers and lower scoring games. He could end up having a monster year until hitters see him a few times.

Closers

Aroldis Chapman – His fastball is stuff of legend by now and he has solidified himself as one of the toughest pitchers to face. While his team may not be good, he will close the games they win and should get at least 40 saves.

Greg Holland – The Kansas City Royals bullpen wears down the other team so much that by time you face Holland your team may have given up. Now that the Royals have a pretty good team, there is no reason to think Holland won’t continue to get over 40 saves a year.
