NFL Week 2 2026 DFS: Top 5 Quarterbacks to Target on DraftKings and FanDuel

Quarterback is often the easiest position to build around in NFL DFS. A strong quarterback performance can come from passing volume, rushing production, multiple touchdowns or a combination of all three. For Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season, the Sunday main slate offers several quarterbacks with attractive matchups and different salary ranges.

The biggest decision is whether to pay up for a high-end quarterback or use one of the cheaper options and spend the savings at running back and wide receiver. Here are five quarterbacks to consider on both DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 2.

1. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

DraftKings: $6,800 | FanDuel: $8,400

Caleb Williams is one of the most intriguing quarterbacks on the Week 2 slate after an enormous opening week.

Williams threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns against Carolina while adding 65 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. The four-touchdown performance produced 37.3 DraftKings fantasy points.

Now Williams returns home to face Minnesota in what has the potential to be another high-scoring matchup. Chicago is favored by 5.5 points, with the game total listed around 49 points in current DFS analysis.

The rushing ability is particularly important for DFS. A quarterback doesn’t have to throw for 300-plus yards to produce a big score when he can add significant yardage on the ground and score rushing touchdowns.

DraftKings currently ranks Williams second among quarterbacks with a 27.4-point projection, while FanDuel also has him among its top three quarterbacks for the week.

DFS strategy: Williams is an excellent option for tournament lineups because his rushing ability creates a path to a ceiling score even if the passing volume isn’t enormous.

2. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $8,100

Brock Purdy is one of the most attractive quarterback values on the Week 2 slate.

The 49ers quarterback completed 25 of 34 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns in San Francisco’s Week 1 victory over the Rams.

Now San Francisco hosts Miami, and the 49ers enter the matchup with one of the strongest implied team totals on the slate. Current DFS projections have San Francisco around 29.5 implied points.

The pricing is what makes Purdy particularly interesting. At $6,200 on DraftKings, he is considerably cheaper than many of the premium quarterbacks. FanDuel has him at $8,100.

Purdy also offers plenty of stacking opportunities. George Kittle costs just $4,600 on DraftKings and $5,900 on FanDuel, while Deebo Samuel Sr. is $5,300 on DraftKings and $6,200 on FanDuel.

DFS strategy: Purdy is an excellent choice when using a balanced lineup. Pairing him with a San Francisco receiver or tight end creates a correlated stack without requiring a huge percentage of the salary cap.

3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

DraftKings: $7,300 | FanDuel: $8,800

Lamar Jackson remains one of the most valuable quarterback profiles in DFS because his fantasy production doesn’t depend entirely on passing.

Jackson opened the season by throwing for 324 yards and a touchdown while adding a rushing touchdown in Baltimore’s 41-23 win over Indianapolis. The Ravens generated 526 total yards in the game.

Week 2 brings a home matchup against New Orleans. Baltimore is currently listed as an 8.5-point favorite, with a game total around 48 points.

That creates several paths to a big fantasy score. If Baltimore controls the game, Jackson can produce with his legs and potentially multiple touchdowns. If New Orleans keeps the game competitive, Jackson should have additional passing opportunities.

The receiving situation is worth monitoring because Zay Flowers is dealing with a hamstring issue, but that doesn’t eliminate Jackson’s rushing upside.

DFS strategy: Jackson is particularly attractive in tournaments because his rushing production gives him a ceiling that conventional pocket passers have difficulty matching.

4. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

DraftKings: $6,400 | FanDuel: $8,000

Dak Prescott is one of the most interesting bounce-back candidates of Week 2.

Dallas struggled offensively in Week 1, losing 28-20 to the Giants. Prescott threw an interception, while CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens were both held below 45 receiving yards.

The Cowboys now return home to face Washington in a matchup that provides a much different environment.

Current DFS analysis has Dallas favored by four points, with the game carrying one of the higher totals on the Sunday slate.

Prescott is priced at just $6,400 on DraftKings and $8,000 on FanDuel.

That salary makes him particularly appealing if you want exposure to a potentially productive passing game without paying the highest quarterback prices.

The obvious strategy is stacking Prescott with Lamb or Pickens. Both receivers struggled in Week 1, meaning a significant rebound from the Dallas passing game could produce a strong correlated DFS lineup.

DFS strategy: Prescott works especially well in tournaments. A Prescott-Lamb or Prescott-Pickens stack provides a straightforward way to attack a Dallas passing-game bounce-back.

5. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

DraftKings: $6,300 | FanDuel: $7,900

Jayden Daniels rounds out the top five because of the combination of rushing ability and salary.

Daniels faces Dallas in Week 2, and DraftKings’ matchup analysis identifies Dallas as one of the more favorable quarterback matchups based on its 2025 fantasy points allowed to the position.

The matchup also creates an interesting game environment. Washington travels to Dallas, and the Cowboys are favored by four points in current DFS analysis.

That spread creates a scenario where Washington could have to throw, while Daniels’ rushing ability gives him an additional avenue to fantasy production.

At $6,300 on DraftKings and $7,900 on FanDuel, Daniels sits in an appealing middle salary tier.

DFS strategy: Daniels is particularly useful when building a lineup that needs quarterback rushing upside without spending $7,000-plus on DraftKings.

DraftKings vs. FanDuel Quarterback Strategy

The pricing differences between DraftKings and FanDuel make the quarterback position worth approaching differently on each site.

DraftKings provides several attractive mid-priced options. Purdy at $6,200, Prescott at $6,400 and Daniels at $6,300 can all leave enough salary to pay up for elite running backs and wide receivers. Current DraftKings projections also have Purdy and Williams among the highest projected quarterbacks on the slate.

FanDuel places a little more emphasis on quarterback scoring efficiency and touchdowns, making rushing quarterbacks particularly attractive. Jackson is $8,800, Williams is $8,400, Purdy is $8,100 and Prescott is $8,000.

Another important consideration is stacking. On DraftKings, Purdy’s relatively low salary makes it easier to pair him with a premium running back or receiver. On FanDuel, the quarterback position generally requires more of the salary cap, making value at other positions more important.

Best QB Stacks for Week 2

Brock Purdy + George Kittle

Purdy and Kittle provide a relatively inexpensive way to attack the San Francisco passing game. Kittle was quiet in Week 1 with just two receptions, but he received five targets.

Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb

This is the classic bounce-back stack. Dallas’ passing offense struggled in Week 1, but Prescott, Lamb and Pickens all have significantly higher ceilings than their opening-week production suggests.

Caleb Williams + Chicago WR

Williams’ rushing ability makes him viable without a stack, but pairing him with one of Chicago’s pass catchers gives a lineup access to the upside of a potentially high-scoring Bears offense.

Final NFL Week 2 DFS Quarterback Strategy

Week 2 offers several ways to attack quarterback. Williams brings rushing and passing upside at a reasonable DraftKings salary. Purdy provides one of the slate’s more attractive salary-saving opportunities. Jackson brings an elite rushing ceiling, while Prescott and Daniels provide exposure to a potentially productive Dallas-Washington matchup.

For DraftKings tournaments, the $6,200-$6,400 range is particularly interesting because Purdy, Prescott and Daniels allow more salary to be spent elsewhere. For FanDuel, the higher prices make quarterback selection more dependent on touchdown and rushing upside.

Before lineup lock, check final injury news, starting quarterback confirmations and any significant changes to offensive personnel. Quarterback projections can move substantially when a starting receiver or offensive lineman becomes unavailable.

For Week 2, the combination of Caleb Williams, Brock Purdy, Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott and Jayden Daniels gives DFS players several different roster-construction options, from expensive ceiling plays to mid-priced quarterbacks that allow more flexibility elsewhere.
